My man has a 2014 and the back up camera does not display/turn on when shifted into reverse. We checked and made sure there IS infact a camera installed, checked to make sure wiring is connected and as far as we can tell everything looks ok. Any suggestions as to why it's not functioning at all? We have also had no luck figuring out which fuse goes to the camera so I haven't been able to check and see if it needs replaced or not.

Is this a factory back up cam? You'll have to inspect the cables running through the trunk and connectors

 

I had the same issue with my 2014 maxima. I brought it to the dealership 3 times because I had an extended warranty. They checked the wires, removed the whole system and had it sent out to be repaired but that still didn't work. They finally replaced the camera itself with a new one. That did the trick. If the wires are all good it just may be the camera itself.
