So, I have been enjoying my 2010 (7th Gen) for a while now but I have decided that it is time for more! I would like to look into turbo or superchargers but im not sure what to change and what i need to prevent throwing a rod or anything bad like that

 

Wrong car for that, buy an Infiniti G or Nissan Z.

At the very least you'll need a 6 speed swap first. The CVT will be toast in no time.

Engine internals are quite strong, no need to get into that.

 

Bro, Dan has a turbo 7th gen that nisformance built. It’s STRONG !!!!!! Super STRONG !!! He went thru 2 CVT’s before swapping for a 6 spd manual

 

I agree with JSutter. The VQ35 is a great engine for the turbo but the trans won’t last long especially if jump in it. Moderate acceleration helps
