Lights fluttering after Alternator

Can you guys help me figure out my problem! The lights on my 2011 have been fluttering since I replaced the alternator. It’s does it randomly at idle and can feel it with the engine running and I’ve replaced 3 alternators plus battery hoping it would solve the issue but no luck. The voltage go up and down when checking with multimeter and stabilize when it stops. It has to be something else I can look at any help would be appreciated

Where are you getting the alternators from? Did you test the original before replacing it. I just got thru that mess. Assumed it was my alternator on my Z and got a bad one and then it was the regulator the whole time.

I got the first one from advance auto parts and that’s when the problem started, then went orielly and that one was bad because it stopped charging and I currently have a Bosch alternator and it’s still fluttering. The original one went bad because of the aftermarket sound system I had in it

Did you disconnect the sound system to see if the fluttering went away?

Well, it's either the alternator or the wiring associated with and connected to the alternator. Start by checking all alternator related connections, then test the alternator using a multimeter. Plenty of videos on Youtube explaining the process.

Even the Z is internally regulated, same motors. OP mentioned aftermarket stereo, so who knows what monkeying around has gone on with that car. Tough to troubleshoot a mess of hacked wires over the internet.
