2010 nissan maxima shuts off while driving

I have a 2010 nissan maxima sv premium that breaks down randomly while driving. Complete power loss that starts when pushing on the gas pedal and the car won't accelerate, then slows down until the car eventually turns off. Right when the car starts showing symptoms of shutting down these dashboard lights show up. I replaced the battery, alternator, and engine harness. Please help diagnose.

Well, with the exception of all your wheel sensors needing replacement, I don't see the vias causing the problems with the shutdown, but it is easy to replace. Did you take the codes during the failure or afterwards? Any stored or pending codes? If not, I would look at all your electrical connections (battery, alt, grounds, etc) and see if any are corroded or loose.

The wheel sensors codes are because I have 18 inch wheels when the 2010 Nissan Maxima SV premium needs 19 inch wheels.

The codes were taken after the shutdown and all the systems were normal. The connections are all clean and tight from what I can see, I'll double check.

The past codes are:
C1729 VHCL speed sensor code
U0415 Vehicle Speed
C1109 Battery Code
P1701 TCM
U1000 Can Comm Circuit

Sure is indicative of a bad connection or wire rubbed raw given the intermittent nature. If the CAN bus is dowm, that will shutdown everything. I dont know if you
are located in the rust belt but do pull connectors apart and ensure no "green crusties" exist.

If your car is indeed the SV Premium trim then 18 inch wheels are standard equipment. 19 inch wheels are standard for the SV Sport only.

I diagnosed the problem myself and found that the alternator was faulty. I got it replaced and it's been running smooth ever since. Thank you guys for the support.

Omg I have a 2009 Nissan Maxima, and currently have been going thru the same issue. I have replaced every sensor you can think of and it still have not fixed the problem. I got code P0345 that suppose to be bank 2 heater sensor aka 02 sensor. Got that replace Thursday and yet the car still does the same thing. Not even a hour after I got the car home, the car cut off & the dash lite up with the same lights. At this point it has to be wiring. I have took it to Two Nissan dealership and I have paid for diagnostic test after another. And no one can seem to tell me why this is happening. Not to mention towed it to a AAA shop and local one and they call just tell me to replace sensors that either has already been replace or they replaced them with no positive outcome. I been dealing with this issue since July of last year. And have spent over $3000 base of people guessing and assuming.. Im frustrated but I need my car to work!!
