Angry 2014 maxima won't start after getting gas

Hello, I have a 2014 Maxima SV SPORT with 118xxx miles on it. Twice now, I have gotten gas, and afterwards the car won't start. It doesn't shutter or anything, just simply won't start and then the brake gets stuck, therefore not allowing the push to start to function. In both instances, I have jumped my battery, the car turns right on, and for the rest of the day it has no problem starting.

The third time, I left my car running while getting gas (I know ...) and drove off no problems, but upon turning the car off and then on again after this, it does the same thing as above. Does anyone have a different work around until I can take it into a repair shop?

I had a VERY dead battery, and just got it replaced (alternator is completely fine as is the starter) but haven't gassed up since because I do not want to be stranded again. I am hoping it is just the battery but that doesn't really make sense?

Could this problem be because of the dead battery, or something else? I am getting my spark plugs replaced (coincidentally) this Sunday, and have also ordered a new purge control valve which I will replace as well.
