Thumbs down 2nd Time Car wouldn't start...

Last month, I was doing a few errands and then the last errand was to get gas. Filled her up and then the car wouldn't start. It was just clicking like crazy. I had someone try to jump start her but it wouldn't work. After 10 minutes of trying unhooked her and she started right up like it wasn't a problem.

Yesterday... doing errands again and got gas. Went to start her back up and she tried but wouldn't turn on. Tried to have someone jump start her and she fired right up.

I never noticed any signs of something going wrong either before or after the failed attempts to start. After the first time she drove perfect until yesterday.

Connections look fine... is this a dying battery? Will the factory warranty cover this? I don't want to get stuck again...

2010 Maxima w/ 28k miles.

This has been a continuing issue with diffenent people here including myself. My 09 had 17000 miles on it when it experience the same problem. Found out the bettery was bad and had it replaced. That was 3 months ago and the problem has not resurfaced. Have you battery checked. I had mine replaced by the dealer with a better than OEM battery and they protated the price down based on the age of the battery.

It's the battery bud, my factory batt was acting up on me...car wasn't turning on like yours but I have a feeling that's where it heading...the starter takes harder and longer to start and my HID fog light flicker when I turn the car off.

The factory batt is known to be short live and trouble prones...trust me replace the damn thing and you'll be trouble free...

I bought an Optima yellow top from advance auto part website last week and it was the best money I've spent...car started right up, no more flickering, my acc time lasts twice as long if not more on this new battery...good stuff!

Free shipping and 30 bucks off and 50 bucks off future purchase the last time I bought it there so go check it out.

The yellow top is a very good but spendy option. If you don't feel like dropping $200+ on a battery just get the Interstate at half the price. You will do just fine. Many people like the YT for running high end audio systems and things. It is in no way half the battery of the Optima.

OK I guess I gotta make an appointment and bring her to the dealership. If the car was mine I'd get the Optima but since it's a lease with about a year left whatever the dealer wants to throw in is fine by me.

I've never had so many little things go wrong with a car before. I can't wait to get out of this lease at this rate I probably won't go back to Nissan.
