Power Stop KC6075 Z23 Evolution

Overhauling brakes on my 2012 SV. Would like to know anyone have these and are they still performing well with the red calipers? Any squealing, dust etc etc? Can I do better regarding a brake kit? Never had slotted rotors before. Are they better than Brembo Blanks or other non slotted? Quite a bit of money to fork out. However, I'm not going cheap regarding brakes. I have used Brembo Blanks with Akebono back in the day when I had my 1999 Maxima. Would prefer to go with a kit and don't see that Brembo or Akebono has a kit for front and rear unless I missed it.

Rumble Fish, are you planning on racing your car or auto crossing with it? My 2010 is my 3rd Maxima and I simply changed my basic rotors to a higher-grade, cross drilled, slotted set I bought from Detroit Axle on eBay. I auto crossed when I lived in California in 2014 and my brakes got a workout, but they held up fine and never let me down.

Maxgig - thanks for the reply. I actually purchased the Power Stop Z23 Evolution Brake Kit K6075 w/o the powder coated red calipers. Not feeling that aesthetically. Prefer a metallic gun metal grey color as my car is grey and I like that color. The challenge now is to find calipers with rust protection coating. Turning into analysis paralysis pain in the ****. The remanufactured appear to be a crap shoot for ALL brands. Kind of like pick the dog with the least fleas. I've narrowed it down to either Power Stop or Centric. Centric has rust coating protection while the regular non powder color Power Stop do not. However, my understanding after reading on several blogs that Power Stop remanufacture their calipers in US and not some sweat shop in a foreign country with questionable quality control.

What calipers do you have?

I have been doing some research on brakes; specifically the Akebono 370Z kit. And what I am having trouble finding is a 100% "Sure, they're the same."
So, anyone reading this, do you feel comfortable agreeing with me with my thinking, if we know the Akebono kit is in fact just 370Z brakes, why can't we just purchase regular 370Z brakes? I could care less that they are painted or have a name on the side. If they would bolt right on, why wouldn't I save, like $2400 and just purchase a set of calipers and rotors from Rock Auto? The calipers are $80 - fronts and $50 - rear. At that point I could just buy the fancy rotors and paint them myself.

What am I missing? Did Akebono actually do something to the 370Z calipers that allow them to fit? Why is this such a hard question? Am I entering the question wrong in every search bar I use? Can I ask more questions that I really could care less about the answer when all I really want to know is what am I missing with the OEM 370Z brakes?

I have the whole front and rear kit. On my second set of pads now, I did use Akebonos. One of the slides did snap off during removal to change said pads and I'm not sure how I feel about that, but otherwise I would say they're worth the money you'll spend if you get the complete kit off RockAuto. Last time I looked they were around $350 there.
