Ignition Coil Compatibility of Different Engines

Ignition coil of HR15DE engine (Tida, Versa) is compatible with VQ25DE (Altima, Maxima, Tiana) and also cheaper.

HR15DE ignition coil OEM part no. 22448-JA00C
VQ25DE ignition coil OEM part no. 22448-JA10C

If those two are 100% compatible, why they have given 2 part numbers in 2 prices?

My car's VQ25DE engine ran more than 3 years with 22448-JA00C part. Now I have to replace them again. I am wondering whether to buy the same low priced 22448-JA00C ignition coil or expensive OEM part?

….since Nissans are temperamental, stick to OEM on this one, or consider replacement again soon.

try rockauto and or nissanpartsplus…

Why are you under the impression that those two, different parts numbers are exactly the same?

Just because they "fit" does not mean that they are the same.

I'm not! RickSmith. I'm not a pro. I want to get a general idea how an ignition coil of a high power high rev engine different from an ignition coil of a normal engine. Are material used in those two types different? Are they functionally different?
Anyway, I bought Hella part 5DA 358 057 691 (€31.92) instead of recommended Hitachi part (€77.22).
Hope I made a right decision 😁.

Something has to be different for Nissan to have two different part numbers for two different applications, and different engines.

I don't know what the differences are.
