2011 Maxima - Issues?
Hey Guys! I'm a new proud owner of a 2011 Nissan Maxima! It's run about 145k miles - It's solid though.
There are a few tiny tiny issues I'm facing, If anyone's dealt with any of these before - Some insight would be great!
Front Left Passenger Door :
It was all perfectly fine until one of my friends quickly opened the door (from the passenger side) from inside and slammed the door as he left in a hurry. Since then it either will be locked (No matter if I use the remote unlock) or either it's permanently unlocked even after I lock the car. In other words, It needs to be manually locked/unlocked from the inside. Not sure if the actuator needs to be replaced - Is there a way to ensure that's probably what's broken? or is there an easier fix for this?
Speed 45-50 mph :
When I'm cruising right around these speeds, I hear a repeated rotatory sound in the engine side. It's strange that I only hear it when I'm cruising at this speed. Otherwise it sounds smooth and fine. (I know I sound paranoid to say yeah it sounds like the engine is rotating, But this is very evident like a loop every 2-3 seconds) I could possibly record a video to show that bit.
Speakers? :
I'm not sure if it's a rattle inside the dashboard or if one of the front dashboard speakers are busted. However when playing music 90% of the time it's okay but there are some songs and certain notes when it hits it I hear this very annoying crackle/rattle in the dashboard which really catches my attention and it's super annoying. However, I don't think a speaker is busted because when the bass drops all the speakers sounds smooth, Ideally I think the speaker is ripped/damaged if when the bass drops and it's rattling badly which would make sense. This is random and/or to only certain other notes. Maybe there are some loose screws in the dashboard? (it's an aftermarket pioneer system)
Suspension? :
When I go over wavy bumpy roads in the speed of 70-80 mph - I hear a "whoosh" right under by my driver's side. I'm not if the suspension is weak, But the wheel arch underneath is a bit ripped up, I assume maybe it's the sound of it hitting against the tyres? I'm not sure. But it's definitely when the wheel is compressed against dips & ups in the road I hear the "whoosh" "whoosh" sounds.
Still a newbie so please be gentle guys! Appreciate any insight - thanks!

Sam
suspension could be shot and needs replaced.
push down on panel over wheel and see how many bounce back you get.
Any noticeable wear Under the wheel house, guard rub???
Door
prob the cable is detached or something in that landscape.
best to remove door liner and see what’s going on
speaker
if blown, replace. Pull the speaker covers and you should see 3 or 4 bolts.
unplug and replace.
everything you described is a weekend getting intimate w your new ride…

Suspension : Yes there is wear under the wheel arch it's kind of ripped and a piece is hanging might be rubbing against the tyres. Will try and press down above the wheel and see how many bounce back I get and update that!
Door : I'll have to get that checked by a Mech then, I haven't really opened up a door panel and stuff. But ideally the little switch that you use to lock/unlock is not firm anymore. There's no 'click' from on/off. it's loose.peaker
Speaker : Looks like the mini speaker in the middle of the topside of the dashboard is the one creating the issue, someone suggested to just disconnect it.
Thanks! Will update soon
