Racing Seats that fit 7th gen

Hey guys this is my first post here! I plan on making a quick 7th gen that was my first car. I want to do some weight reduction on it, and I was wondering if anyone had and racing seats in their cars. If so could you drop some links to the seats and brackets you used please? Thanks! Also any other ideas for power or weight reduction would be awesome!

What are you planning to do about the side airbags in the OEM seats?

If those are not hooked up and working, the rest of the airbags in your car are deactivated.

I had aftermarket Sparco seats in my 3rd gen back in 2009-2010ish, nobody had rails available and I had to pay a customization shop to weld new brackets on the OEM rails to make them work. As cool as they were, they weren't as comfortable as the OEM seats and the novelty wore off after a while lol. As said, it would basically be better to keep the Max as a daily and get a 240sx or something as a car for this stuff. That way you have aftermarket and won't have to deal with seat airbag issues etc

Is that really true? I figured he'd just have to live with an airbag light.

To the OP, you're going to be hard pressed to find anyone that installed racing seats in a 7th gen. These cars are not mod friendly and there is virtually zero aftermarket support for mods. If it were me, I'd leave your Max alone and buy another "fun" car that is:
RWD or AWD
has forced induction
plenty of aftermarket support for mods

I have a hard time believing that if one airbag is disconnected or malfunctioning which triggers the airbag light, that all of the airbags become deactivated. When an accident occurs, all airbags don't deploy, so why would they all have to be in good working order?

SUPPLEMENTAL AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT
The supplemental air bag warning light, displaying in the instrument panel, monitors the circuits for the air bag systems, pretensioners and all related wiring. When the ignition switch is placed in the ON or START position, the supplemental air bag warning light illuminates for about 7 seconds and then turns off. This means the system is operational.

If any of the following conditions occur, the front air bag, side air bag, curtain air bag and pretensioner systems need servicing:
● The supplemental air bag warning light remains on after approximately 7 seconds.
● The supplemental air bag warning light flashes intermittently.
The supplemental air bag warning light does not come on at all. Under these conditions, the front air bag, side air bag, curtain air bag or pretensioner systems may not operate properly. They must be checked and repaired. Take your vehicle to the nearest NISSAN dealer.

WARNING
If the supplemental air bag warning light is on, it could mean that the front air bag, side air bag, curtain air bag and/or pretensioner systems will not operate in an accident. To help avoid injury to yourself or others, have your vehicle checked by a NISSAN dealer as soon as possible.

I appreciate you referencing the FSM, just what I was hoping you'd post. IMO, the language is vague, poorly worded and subject to interpretation. It also says "could" mean, not "shall" mean. It's still of my opinion that the remaining airbags would be functional.

You 'could', not 'shall', be correct in this matter.

I don't want to be 'that guy' that tests the airbags if the dash light is illuminated.

I'm not sure if they are working. I got in a crash last year and none of the went off even though the front end wash smashed pretty good.

I really don't have the money for another car rn, cause I just started college and I don't have any left over cash. I may just try and sell it after I fix it up a little bit.

I don't have the money for that kinda car. I traded a boat for my maxima then wrecked it, so I've been pouring all my money into fixing it.
