Trans cooler?

I inherited a 2010 at 70k and only just started servicing the trans fluid at 90k. Now I'm at 100k and I just changed the exterior filter along with a few quarts of ns2. I've been reading about overheat issues and trans coolers; I see that advance Auto sells a few universal sizes, and rock auto has one that looks closer to being a stock trans cooler. However, I know that my radiator has trans cooling lines already. My question is, is it worth it or even feasible to add an additional auxiliary trans cooler, or to even reroute my radistor cooling lines to an auxiliary cooler? Has anyone tried this before?

I also toyed with the idea. There is a cooler/heater for desert areas for 7th gen out there larger capacity. Check it out.

So is there anything wrong with your existing transmission cooler? If not, why mess with it. I don't remember seeing one post on the 7th gen site mentioning overheating transmission because of the cooler.

Do you have a link of part number to such a product?

Not necessarily, but I don't know how well the previous owners have kept up with servicing and I'm paranoid about Nissan's notorious CVT issue. Unfortunately I am already in love with the car, so I'm just trying to find ways to make it live for as long as possible. I am also considering that I may need to take it for longer drives soon, as I recently graduated college and am in search of a job to get my career started.
