Somehow I don't think they will play all of their wheel cards in the first year of production. I'm sure we will see more wheel options as the 8th gen matures.

Their article is a little misleading as you don't have to order the car before June 2, just put in a reservation by then, after that, purchase the car by Jan4.

Not 5 minutes after I put in the reservation, I get a call from a local dealership.
Wanted to know if I had any questions. I said, "You have one on the lot I can test drive today?"

LOL, Awesome! Which trim and color did you reserve? I am still debating between colors before I reserve, already know it will be SR though!

I currently have a 2k12 Premium Tech (Ocean Gray with black interior) so I will be going Platinum. I'm gonna pull a LOTH moment here, but as I get older, the preference for the tautness of the sport ride has given way to a preference for a more comfortable ride and creature amenities.

I might be the only one to admit this, but for the exterior, I'm leaning towards Forged Bronze (brown) , though the Bordeaux Black is a looker too. Cashmere for the interior. I like to alternate between the black and beige interiors as I swap cars.

I'd like to see someone Photoshop the black bar under the V grill to a matching body color. I think that will help the aesthetics of the nose quite a bit.

I must say I'm not a fan of the cup holders being exposed in the console. It's gonna get ratty as time goes on, and how am I now gonna be able to hide that dessert that I just had from my wife when she gets in the car?

Yes, I do usually get the cushier suspension version. Partly because my wife is always in the car with me, partly because my organs are not quite as hardy as they one were, partly because I like all the luxurious features that are on the top-of-the-line (cushy) version only, etc. But then I carry 37 psi nitro in my tires, which essentially gives a ride similar to the sportier version. A mind as old as mine tends to mix car preferences as easily as metaphors.
