Vinyl
Thanks I appreciate that! Its funny you bring that up because my guy told me the same thing. He said he will wrap it but will not warranty it. So far it has held up just as good as everything else but it has only been like 2-3 weeks so im not sure how it would hold up long term. I personally think itll be fine as long as your gentle in that area while washing.

Hey faze. I came across this picture from spoiler King and it looked familiar. I know you've done a lot of work and changes to your car since the original setup. Is this your car? Do you own this wing? If so, do you like it? What can you tell me about installation and/or anything else to know. If it's not your car and just super coincidental, please disregard. Thank you

Hi Faze, Great looking car. I’ve admired it for a while now. I drove a ’99 SE Ltd. up until about 8 years ago, but never modded it. Gave it to my father to enjoy.
Anyhow, if you don’t mind answering, I have a couple of questions for you. I’m probably picking up a Silver or White SL in the next 3-4 months. I’m mocking up what I’d like to do to it. I see you have the Stillen splitter on your car. Is it wrapped or painted? I intend to add it as well, but want the two end sections at the wheel well to color-match the body and the middle section be gloss Black (see bad Photoshop below). Which method would you recommend to achieve the best result?
Lastly, there’s a bunch more mods I intend to do (chrome delete interior of headlights, add halo, blackout roof, etc.) I assume you do all your work out on the Island, I will do research myself, but was wondering if there is a shop outside LI you’d recommend?
Appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks

I can't believe I am saying this but I will probably tint the windows as well. Texas heat is brutal and with a black interior I probably better go ahead and do this.

No need to be sorry everyone is entitled to their own opinion. To answer your question the whole point is that wide rims are more concave which is the look i wanted in the rear but i couldnt fit a fat tire back there to match so i had to stretch the tire to make it fit without rubbing...

Sorry for the late response. I don't come on here often. 'm pretty sure a quality vinyl shop can achieve the look you mentioned. I think that would be your best bet since vinyl is a little more forgiving when it comes to rock chips and such. My splitter is painted but shows wear after only a couple of months. As for a shop I recommend what area are you exactly from?

Were the brakes a direct bolt on or were modifications needed? Also do you have the part number of the kit you installed?

Yea pick up is a little slower but I don't mind. Not like im driving a race car.
Me too
Just the dust shields needed to be trimmed to accommodate the bigger rotors. Other than that direct fit. They are from a 370z. I bought them from z1 motor sports.com

I'm not familiar with that area sorry. I go to a place called exclusive vinyl on long island.
Same size as you and I rub also I just ignore it lol.

Around 2,500. And if installed and uninstalled properly no. It actually protects the paint.

Yea u need the banjo bolts and while ur in there i would do stainless steel brake lines also. Makes a big difference. Also make sure ur wheels clear the brakes. The are much bigger than stock brakes. Your stock wheels wont fit without 20mm spacers all around so keep that in mind. To be safe u need a 370z or g37 spare tire also
