Acceleration runs & exhaust sounds
The car will shift in D as well, depends on where the throttle is. The D-step shift logic feels like it's between 25-100% throttle. Lower than 25%, drives like a normal CVT. Now if you put your foot all the way down it will still "shift" BUT, if you press harder on the pedal there is a detent the pedal will pop into and in this position it will do normal CVT hard accel without shifting. The video shows both methods.
I keep getting called by Bobby at Mossy Nissan to come check out the 8th Gen Maxima and I was there 7am yesterday morning! Wow the magazines photo don't do any justice for the 8th Gen Maxima....Wow it's really nice! It looks kinda like a Ford Fusion in the front and Mazda from the side but a very atrractive vehicle inside and out....The vehicle I looked at was a SL model which had 18" wheels instead of the 19" SR wheels...The interior was really beautiful and sexy...I'm sold and It needs Headers, catback, drop sport springs, etc....already!
I am impressed how good in sounded in the video, can't wait to get to hear it everyday when stepping on it!
I tried this, but the CVT still simulates an up-shift. The car should accelerate quicker with WOT RPM not dropping on an up-shift
