New Pearl White Platinum owner!!

Signed up long ago when I had a 95 max... Haven't seen another one with factory chrome wheels. Dealer still needs to add rocker panels, ground lighting and tint.

Yeah, they are chrome factory wheels. Dealer wasn't sure how they got them, but I was happy to get them!! A little dirty from the rain, but here ya go. Hate having a dirty car.

It's a great look - I find it interesting that chromed wheels do not show up anywhere in the options list - wondering how NISSAN is making them on a random basis?? Enjoy and consider yourself lucky!!

Yes it is - and I love it - it is by far the best Maxima I have ever owned! Still want to add drilled rotors, cat back exhaust, CAI, and front strut brace but will probably wait for Stillen...

Yeah I couldn't find anything either. Call it rare and the car has every option and add on. They don't look aftermarket so who knows. I know it gets a lot of looks since u don't see many Maximas to begin with..they think it's a Lexus lol.

NISSAN has chromed wheels in the past but they were always listed as an option - interesting - will have to watch the eStore...

Debated on tinting the windows after driving the car for a while...debate over..also had the car detailed and one of the guys came over and talked to me about 15 minutes about the car..His father was considering one among a BMW and other luxury cars..The Max definitely plays up a class and gets lots of looks.

They certainly appear to be. Spidgeon, maybe the same guy that installed your DRLs installed those ground lights.

Haha, I don't think so÷ the lights with more shade appear to be brighter. I thought the same thing. With equal darkness they are the same color.

Ground lighting all good.

Looks really good. Seeing all the pics on here and having all these mailers sent to me from my dealer I'm so tempted but I have to fight to wait until next year!

thanks Phatty. The car gets looks everywhere I go..Its been a while since I've seen a car thats moved me and Nissan hit the nail on the head with this one as far as I'm concerned.

@propa teknique take your time. you'll get a great deal on the same car if you wait. I've been waiting a long time for the right car and was simply ready to pull the trigger..

I have not read the complete manual yet,but I generally put in reg. gas, does premium give better top speed, over reg.

I run premium as it is recommended. Not sure a out top speed, but higher octane fuel less likely to detonate which should let the car run higher timing without knock. Currently on a road trip getting over 30mpg..was as high as 32 but I started cruising 80 lol..

Thanks for sharing your MPG screen. I'm getting just about the same as you but doing that on Regular. You should not hear any detonation as the car's computer will dial back the timing as needed depending on the engine load. Of course many will argue you don't get "full" power. I am very happy with the acceleration on Regular as it is. Fact is that around here, there is quite a spread from regular to premium cost. Finally, the car is leased for 36 months. I ran my 2010 Max Tech for 46000 miles with no problems.
