Never knew pin striping was available until purchasing my Platinum last week...I love it!

 

I don't think it's offered as an option from the factory. It's normally a dealer added feature, I believe it's an adhesive pin stripe they put on.

 

The dealer can't seem to answer the question either. All they know is that it was delivered that way from the factory, unless Nissan had it pin striped in transit. It's an added bonus which I did not expect, and quite frankly, never even considered having pin striping put on any of my Maximas. The stripe even has the "Nissan" logo just aft of the passenger door. I can take photos if you want to see the striping. So far, I love the look of it on the Coulis Red background.

 

Please include some pics please. Curious what this looks like.

 

to each there own, but if mine would have had it on I would have made them take it off.

Had no idea they existed. The color combo is a good choice for the background color. I would have preferred the Model logo, but oh well, I cant complain about a freebie! Thanks for the info.

 

Personally, I would make the dealer remove it. Pinstripes are the worst.
