Cell Phone Holder

Anyone figure out where to holster their cell phone and what accessory they used? I would prefer it right above the screen so probably need to attach the holster to the vent.

I have always had the Seat bolt mount. Many of my friends have moved to this type of mount vs the vent or dashbboard mount. Installed on passenger seat mount.

I bought this one and use the CD slot to hold it. Pops on/off easily and great for viewing Waze.

Just picked this up, and have to say I really like this. With my phone attached it blocks the very top of the touchscreen, but it certainly doable. Thanks for recommending, and posting. Thinking about picking one up for my wife for a Christmas present too.

I've been looking for a good cup holder phone mount. For my reach the farthest cup holder seems to be the perfect place for the phone.

I have been using proclipusa.com for a while now. They design custom mounts for each car. Then you can get the custom holder for your phone. I particularly like the way I can keep it plugged in for power by just sliding it into its spot.

Can you just lift up the phone to unplug the charger as well? The picture they have for the LG G5 is a generic picture.

EDIT: just researched further...nevermind my previous question

This looks like it could interfere with the front-most cup holder. Does it clear it with even the biggest cup put into that cup holder?

Clears both cup holders...no issue what so ever, hugs the right side of the console.
It has a lip that snugs between the face and the side of the console and prevents it from moving.

I am curious with the Proclip phone holder. I have used them in my past vehicles but have never seem them in this location of the vehicle. I have also not seen what it looks like with the actual phone holder attached. Does the phone holder portion interfere with the opening of the door to the compartment next it that houses the USB plugs? I have a larger phone (Nexus 6) and was curious about this since I am a fan of Proclip. Thnaks.

Do you have the link for where I can get a holder? I think proclipusa doesn't provide a holder with this item..

You buy it separately, but the website does offer both.

Does the ProClip mount interfere with the opening and closing of the compartment door that it is installed next to? I contacted ProClip USA but was not able to get a definite answer from them.

Proclip does not block accessory door. I have a note 4 and like having in landscape works fine.

I bought this mount about a week after I bought my Maxima, been using it ever since. Its very sturdy and keeps it the phone out of the way, but in good view. It does block the Hazard light switch and the middle air vents, but neither of those are entirely necessary for me. I just pointed the air vents as far up as they'll go and I've never had an issue with not enough air flow in my car.

Don't be afraid of the one star review, its the only review on the product and that person did not buy the correct product for their purpose. I have not tried setting the mount to hold my phone vertically, but I'd rather have it in landscape anyway.

Purchased the same holder and the only concern I have is that it sticks out about 2 1/2 inches from the dash. No I haven't measured it, just a guess. Other that that it seems to be just what the doctor ordered.

How is the space between the phone in landscape and the door behind for android auto being open? I can't find a picture anywhere
