Had Service Dept remove dealer badge - clearcoat damage?

I purchased my maxima at a different dealership from which I get service at. Today I had some add ons done for the car and asked if they could remove the tacky dealer badge that the purchasing dealership had put on the back of the car. They said they were able to (it was just to the left of the rear license plate frame).

I just noticed after picking it up that it's got the tiniest clearcoat damage. It looks like there's a piece of clearcoat missing that's about the size of 1/8 inch by 1/8 inch.

Should I have them check it out? Is there anything they'd be able to do short of swapping out the whole trunk door (which I'd rather not do since I just had the sports spoiler installed).

I don't know - maybe I'm being too picky but figured I'd try to keep the car immaculate since it's less than a week old and not sure what I should expect from talking with them about it.

I'm surprised they agreed to remove the badge. Those things are difficult to remove without some collateral damage.

I always specify that no dealer thingie be stuck to the back of my car. The three Nissan dealerships nearest me use dealer stickers that can easily be pulled off by hand, moved to any part of the car, and leave absolutely no trace. It is disappointing that any dealer that cares about their customers would put any stickers on cars that cannot be pulled off by the customer in two seconds.
