Ya I'm considering the dynamic diode DRL switchbacks just for the difference of the LEDs but very scared to open the housing. Mannino89...how are the Opt7s distance compared to the halogens
Bummer that the Opt7 distance isn't as great. But how is the distance compared to the stock halogens? This was top on my list to get, but this post had me re-guessing. Plus also in the pictures, the difference in temperature is very noticeable against the DRL.
I believe the halogens throw farther than the LEDS but these are brighter. I mean don't get me wrong, they're not that bad but still, they don't throw as far as a pair of HIDS. I am beginning to think if I adjust the aiming of the projectors, if that'll make a difference. I haven't touched the aiming of the beam pattern at all but at the same time, I'm hesitant to throw off the factory specs. From 25 feet out, they aren't blinding at all, you gotta really bend down pretty low to get that "blinding beam" in your face. Also, one side note I forgot to mention is that when you throw these in our maxima, you gotta use the polarity adapters that come free/standard with the OPT7 FluxBeam Kit. It's just an extra wire that goes from the stock harness to the bulb ballast.
I extended the wiring for the LED strip with some wire I had laying around and wrapped it with electrical tape to make it long enough to mount behind the amp. Strip comes with 3M double sided tape pre-applied on it.
Didn't notice one of the LEDs was burnt out till just now, didn't really inspect it all that much when I got it...assuming it came like that, not a big deal.

Just dropped off my car to get roof top wrapped in gloss black vinyl. Led headlights should arrive today and the opt7 led fogs, Philips LED reverse and license plate bulbs this weekend. Still debating on tints because of state laws.
Also for those that had their chrome trim pieces wrapped around the Windows, how much did you pay? They quoted me 245 for roof and like 395 for just the chrome trims wrapped. Is this too much? I do know it's much more work to do them, but that much more?
Just picked up my car from the shop the roof is done and pretty happy with it. Anyone in Northern NJ that's looking for wraps, this guy does a pretty good job in Hackensack. Charged me 245 for the roof.
Looks good, I'm not sure how they justify the $395 price for the window trim...I've never done it myself so I can't judge as far as how labor intensive it is.
I plasti-dipped the chrome trim on my 14 Camry and that trim went all the way around the windows, not just the bottom. It looked much better blacked out, but it had that rubbery feel to it and I was planning on getting it wrapped at some point till I traded it in. If I didn't have to touch the trim the dip would have been perfectly fine, but I would **** with it and rub it when my window was down and my arm hanging out the window, most of the time when closing the door my hand would glide across the trim and it obviously wasn't smooth like the chrome was. I considered dipping the Maxima in this way too, but I'm not sure yet, like I said before I kinda like the chrome on my Gun Metallic.
Washed her and then applied poorboys white diamond show glaze. Pictures don't do any justice. Also completely cleaned interior, applied leather masters leather cleaner, conditioner, and protectant. When it gets warmer, I want to do this same all over interior and exterior but also add wax and protectant.

Was that a direct plug in to the socket? Or did you cut the wires to hook it up?
You mean my beam pattern is upside down? The pics not upside down on my cell phone?
This is what I see (assuming it won't rotate this pic on your cellphone). It doesn't matter really, the pic does show the beam pattern we're just seeing it upside down.

Wash my car for tomorrow am taking it to the dealer for a zantek on my paint in tracking my parts hoping i can get my infinity q60 s big brakes here tomorrow so i can get them done next weekend.
Did you do this yet? Where did you get parts? The stock brakes on these cars are so bad after a few hard hits they fade like crazy and shake.
Also debadged my trunk... Spoke to Stillen and they said they will have brake kit upgrades for us within next 30-40 days. And decided going to get their intake and axle back installed.
So I decided to go ahead and piece some parts I had laying around for an axleback since I wanted to avoid the drone of a muffler delete. im quite pleased with the result but not 100% sold on it yet hence why I put it for sale locally already :/
This came in the mail today and I thought I'd share as I found it very useful. I was on amazon and came across this tray for the center console that makes a top level for smaller items, and all larger items can still be placed below. All of my previous nissans had 2 compartment center consoles, so this resolves that issue. Not sure why the 16 console doesn't do that and is so small. It has a non slip mat that even says maxima on it. It seems to be of good quality, and the fitment is perfect. It is fixed and just sits on the edges, so you have to remove it to access below. It's a little overpriced for what it is, but all of my business cards, coins, etc. we're getting buried in the tiny compartment. Cheers
