Folks - found aluminum sport pedal covers that work and look exactly like the ones on the SR. Nearly impossible to find anywhere in US, but found on eBay from China and worked perfectly!

Thanks for the link. I'm willing to give them a shot for less than $20 shipped.

I ordered the same ones and they have yet to arrive (been a month already). For the price, you have nothing to lose

All of my previous nissans had 2 compartment center consoles, so this resolves that issue. Not sure why the 16 console doesn't do that and is so small. It has a non slip mat that even says maxima on it. It seems to be of good quality, and the fitment is perfect. It is fixed and just sits on the edges, so you have to remove it to access below. It's a little overpriced for what it is, but all of my business cards, coins, etc. we're getting buried in the tiny compartment. Cheers

Like the others - thanks for sharing this. I put one in today and it's just what that space needs. It's good quality and well laid out. I'm liking the Maxima matt too.

Installed my new Escort Max 360 radar detector with the hardwire kit last night. Getting the a-pillar trim off fought me like crazy but I got it undone. My brother also came by and brought me an early christmas gift before work for the week. LED license plate and reverse lights!

Been working on building a new grill. Should have it finished and off to paint soon. Here are a few pics:

Mine arrived yesterday (about 3 weeks after ordering). First of all, after six months of ownership I had never noticed that the stock gas pedal on my 2016 SV was a cheap piece of plastic with no rubber cover. It took some wiggling to get them on, but the stainless covers fit pretty well and look quite a bit like the stock ones from the SR. The protruding piece of rubber at the top left of the gas pedal is a bit weird though:

I found this pic of the SR pedals at nissanusa.com (not sure what happened to the emergency brake pedal though):

Lookin' pretty snazzy! Glad you like them. I also didn't realize it was a piece of plastic - kinda lame if you ask me, but I guess as long as the car goes fast then eh. My wife's Jeep Cherokee has the plastic also. I called Nissan and asked what happened if I scratched up the pedal and they told me they'd have to replace the whole throttle by wire assembly.

Would be nice is Nissan sold these as an OEM accessory. I agree the rubber piece is a little weird, but you may be able to stretch it around and use some gorilla glue and a clamp to lock it in place until the glue sets (if you really care).

Looks great, if you were in Austin, Texas I would pay you to install my hid replacement bulbs. Please link me to where you got them and how much work was involved.

If you get the fenders rolled that might help

It wasn't the fender, it was the plastic wheel well cover.

Got a few things completed this weekend on my 17' Max SR. Dropped on Eibachs (for now), installed Stillen intake, installed external ground lighting kit, sent out Stillen diffuser and front lip for paint.

I will be wrapping the roof and side trim panels next weekend in gloss black along with chrome delete and debadge. I am also still trying to pick out a set of wheels. I originally was going to go with a set of OEM Rays 20" wheels for GTR or 19" 370z wheels, but am still undecided.

Hey - I realize this thread is dated.. but I'm interested in your phone's USB cable routing. My old phone fit into my 2016 Maxima's phone cubby just fine. I believe the cubby in my 2019 SL hasn't grown enough (at all?) over the 2016's to accommodate my Samsung S20. The tolerance around the door of the cubby really won't allow the cable to squeeze through it. I started thinking about passing a cable from under / behind the cubby via an opening I'd create in it to access the USB port instead. Is that what you did? Yes or no, I'd be interested in learning how you did it - no sense in reinventing the wheel here. TIA!

2018 Maxima sv. Last owner has a minor accident and broke off the bottom of the front bumper cover. Rather than replace the bumper cover I'm making a clear plastic shield and putting a light kit in it and on bottom. I meant to do that... Lol. Let's see how it comes out
