Headliner minor scratch from service
My rear sunroof shade stopped working and the dealership ordered the replacement part and installed it yesterday. In doing so they had to take out the headliner to get to it. All in all its in the same shape with the exception of a minor scratch by the rear drivers side window as well as some dirt finger prints near that and on the rear sunshade. Would you take it back to the dealership to have this addressed in this case?

I would have done it at the time of pickup but it was nighttime unfortunately. I informed the service tech at the time that I'd be looking at it today during the day time. Gave them a call and waiting to hear back.

I'm generally the type that does not complain about minor things. But you have a fairly new Maxima, and folks buying/driving a Maxima can be fairly particular, so you need to have this problem remedied in order to maintain the true value of your car.
I always check the leather seats very carefully after servicing, because mechanics sometimes have sharp tools such as screwdrivers in their rear or side pockets. I don't recall ever having a headliner damaged. But then my rear window screen on my '09 worked perfectly for seven years.
