So i've had two of my friends on separate occasions tell me that my left license plate light was going in and out. The 2nd friend / the 2nd time, he ended up recording it while he was following me so I could see the issue. The first time was before I had replaced the stock halogen bulbs with LED so it leads me to believe there's some sort of wiring or electrical issue vs the bulbs I put in. What's odd is that it's very intermittent and not predictable at all. It does happen when the blinker isn't on as well. I would assume it can't be the fuse if it's working at all, so I'm at a loss here. Has anyone else experienced this or heard of this issue? If I can't find any help here, I may have to just take it into the dealership for them to look at it.
Check the metallic connections on both types of bulbs, its possible (not likely) that both bulbs happened to have bent contacts that weren't making a good connection, but it sounds like there may be an issue with the socket itself.
These are the ones I bought so I put the stock halogens back in for now. Apparently when I had someone follow me, stock halogens are fine so perhaps you were right. However, these that I purchased seem to be the enclosed type and I still had the blinking/flashing issue at random times. Not sure what to replace these with now.

I installed the door panel, backup lights and license plate lights
All from dynamic diode and everything works great.
70 bucks for all the lights replaced
