Driver seat adjustment - knee pressing on the console

I am about 5'11" and have been driving my SR for about 6 months now and have still not had a comfortable driving position. My Knee keeps pressing on center console and its not comfortable for long drives. If I push my seat back until the knee does not contact the console is fine but again the steering wheel is far out and still not comfortable. Anyone have a hack to or a trick to this seating adjustment ? I love driving this car but the seating adjustment is a pain.

I assume you've tried all the adjustments available, right? Telescoping the wheel as towards you as possible, messing with the thigh extender, etc.

Yup I have tried the thigh extender and my steering wheel is all the way out towards me. I guess I need a new seat

Aww... lol. I think it's more to do with the center console/stack and it's size. I'm 5'6 and have no issues but you're not the first I've heard this issue from with taller people.

I had this same issue with an Infiniti awhile back. It may sound silly to some people, but it was really uncomfortable after a while.

The seam of my jeans fell right where my knee rested against the console and after a little while it started burning and hurting. For long drives I actually had to put a folded cloth between my knee and the console to cushion it.

I'm the same height as you and my right knee never touches the console side. Its my left knee that I bend for comfort and it rests on the door. I guess I sit funny driving haha! But im always very comfortable

LOL! I guess I have issues with my seating position. I know it may sound silly but I am curious if you have your seat pushed back quite a bit? or if you have your thigh adjustment set all the way up ?

It's probably a couple inches from the back and have thigh rest half way

I too am 5'11 and have the same issue with my right knee. It is unfortunate that is such a prevalent issue with the new generation. The passenger seat offers much more space and I believe the seat is a bit wider there too.
