New to maxima/Nissan help with amp please!
Hey guys I recently switched over from a Honda Accord I've had three accords since 2010 and the maxima caught my eye. I just got mine a week ago and I need some assistance wiring my subwoofer and amp. The way I did it in my accord was just tap into the factory subwoofer from the trunk and connect my loc to it. I noticed in the maxima there is just two speakers inside the trunk with an amp in between. Is there a factory subwoofer or do I need to go about this another way?

Assuming you have the Bose stereo?
Just tap in as you have done before. I mounted my amp on the back of the back seat. Tapped into the switched power from the lighter-style charging port, and put 2 12" subs in the back.
You'll want to change up some settings (ANC. Centerpoint, Soundstage to get the sound YOU like. Those options are described in some detail in other threads. In all, it took just about 3 hours for my install.
Good luck.
