Daylight savings time?

All,
Has anyone had their car set to daylight saving time on and have to adjust it anyways?
I had to offset by an hour...

Are you sure it was on? I thought I turned mine on too, but when I looked yesterday the orange dot next to ON was not present, hit it and the time adjusted immediately.

Delete thread lol
Silly me see the DST indicator shows On
No orange indicator
A simple on off would suffice Nissan
Lol

Thanks

Apparently it's not automatic. You hit it to change it period.

Correct. Nissan knows there are far too many quirks and twists to the DST rules (some states are split, some places do not observe DST at all, and some New England states are thinking of moving to the Atlantic Time Zone (would be the same time as Nova Scotia and the Caribbean). Anytime we are dealing something that involves politics, nothing is ever for sure. And we should remember that every few years, congress changes the start time and/or the end time for DST. There have been several attempts to abolish DST altogether, and also a few attempts to stay on DST year round. Automating anything like this moving target would be a waste of time.
