Battery issue in less than a week!

I got my 2016 Max SR last Sunday and so far I have installed LED 6000k License plate bulbs, White Vision LED Back-up light and OPT7 5000k LED Fog Light Bulbs - CREE XB-D - 700 Lumens.
Today while driving i noticed the car wanted to shut down especially while turning the wheels on low speeds, music would turn off and come back. It seemed weird to me as its a brand new car. I parked my car and after an hour come back to it finding it wouldn't start (I had to unlock the door with the key provided in the remote). I opened up the hood and suddenly the car alarm rang and eventually the car started.
Now I want to go back to the dealer and tell them about this battery issue. Would they blame this on the light bulb mods I have done to the car? Could this be one of the issue for the battery draining out? Its only been 6 days I got the car and 2 days I installed the fogs!!

There's no reason why any of those mods should be draining your battery. I would definitely get it checked out.

I wouldn't mention your mods unless they ask you up front. Just tell them what the problem is?

Your mods are simple bulbs...if they're drawing power, the lights would be illuminated. But then again they could blame it on that just so that your issue may become a customer pay. Go to the selling dealer that you bought the car from. You would have more pull with them than any other dealer. Also, tell them you've been noticing a slow cranking when the vehicle sat overnight. And the issue started getting worse. Make sure to emphasize that this problem was there before your mods just to stray them away from that direction.

Yea that was my plan, its only been a week since I got the car so i'll just mention it has been happening from the 2nd day itself. Hope it works out, but i feel its just the battery terminals that are lose but I ain't touching it as I'll have an excuse in blaming on their quality control.

Exactly good choice of wording.

Mine came with a bad battery also. The drive computer was resetting every time I turned off the car. Then, I noticed it wasn't turning over very well. Since it fires and starts right away, I didn't notice it for a couple of weeks. I took it into the dealer and had them check the battery. It was bad, so they replaced it.

Most batteries are fine, but, just like everything that comes off any production line, there will occasionally be a bad one. A bad battery most often shows itself fairly early. If a battery works fine for several months, and is properly treated, it will normally last for many years.

I would caution against ever listening to the radio or having any lights on while the car is not running. The 7th gen was notorious for having the battery drain down in short order if the radio was on and the motor was not running. The 8th gen has a better battery, but I still don't take chances.
