Vinyl wrapping chrome

I have a black SV and I was thinking about getting the chrome trims under Windows wrapped along with the big chrome pieces in the front and back. I was thinking about going with gloss black or a carbon fiber look just thought I'd see what yall think about doing something like that and I also plan to black out my stock wheels
Thanks

A couple of us has done it. I would think gloss black would be the way to go rather than carbon fiber.

I agree gloss black to match the black panels on the rear sides.

Depends what look you are going for. I mean you really wont have anything else chrome to match around the car except the trunk lid trim unless you are doing that too.

I think it would be best to leave that part chrome unless you're doing full blackout

I'm doing the trunk piece for sure pretty much everything but the emblems atleast for now that is might just dip the emblems just undecided on that thin strip around the front grille

I have everything blacked out except for the emblems, door handles, and the crome around the grill. Definitely will do the door handles. Still thinking about the crome around the grill. It's growing on me.

Instead of wrapping with vinyl im going with autodip which leaves a gloss finish - similar to Plasti-dip but the finish doesnt feel rubbery but vinyl like and much easier to apply .
http://www.autodip.com/

- I know a promoter in Canada and I tried their Space grey and the finish was very nice and peeled very easily. might be an alternative for those of you who are not as skilled with vinyl (like me), cost us 30$ here for a can but 1 canister can coat 2 wheels according to him.. so it isnt so bad.
