How can I add or delete phone numbers from the phone book?

I have just updated my phone and it seems to automatically sync with my car after connecting it.

Thank you for your response. My phonebook did the same. My issue, since my cell phone contacts number around 2,000 is that I want to delete some of them from my Maxima phone book and add others. Does anyone know how to do this.

The Maxima phone book is just reading your own contacts off of your connected phone. I don't recall off the top of my head if there is a limit, but you can add contacts into the quick dial list to separate people you're more likely to call and not scroll through the phone book.

8th generation Phone book will not stayed Synced

I had to get a new phone because of AT & T' S new 5G my phone was not on the compatible list. My new phone paired right up, my problem is everytime I turn off my car it does not retain my synced phone book. I also added contacts to quick dial, they are no longer there. I end up having to download my phone book everytime I restart my car..Help!!!

It is a 2016..I did delete the one repair several times and also allowed it to my shared my contacts. It worked on my last Phone with no problems, it pairs quickly with this one no problem, so I'm thinking it is a setting problem somewhere in the phone? I did contact Nissan Bluetooth tech but have not received a call back yet.
