Sun Visor

Anyone purchased a sun visor yet? Curious if any fit better than others. I've got a black SR and it is getting hot, plus I'd like to protect my leather and plastic as much as possible from the UV.

Mine that I had from my 2005 Infiniti FX fits well. I also had my tint shop put a clear heat rejecting film on front windshield.

I just bought one from WeatherTech. It fits very well and cost about $60.

Like I stated, it mine from my 05 FX35 does work, it is not an exact fit but works for me now. I am looking in the future to get one specifically for this car, and have looked at both Weathertech which offers one for $59.95 as well as the one listed above, Heatshield for $39.95.

I am personally more interested in the Weathertech but that is just me. I would love to hear from anyone that has tried either or maybe even both.

As for the film on my front window, yes it does help and I can tell. I went to the dealership and sat in a car that had been sitting out for some time and then got in mine after it had been in the same spot and yes it is noticeable. Not 100% of the heat is gone but a significant portion is. The film is not noticible at all. I will be having it redone in the future however, because the company did not clean my window well prior to putting it on which is killing me when I try to get it 100% clean. I can see the places they missed.

I had done this as well in my last BMW 5 series and loved it then as well.
