YOOOOOOO WHAZUUUP New Owner Here
I’m a new Maxima owners as of a few weeks ago. Had lots of cars before and all over the spectrum. I like a decent exhaust sound (typically v8’s) and going fast. The Maxima is quick but I’m going to have to be very careful when I choose an exhaust mod. I don’t like that tin can shiz. Anyways. Here’s my ride! I’m super happy with it!

Kinda disappointed in my choosing of the tire size, but will get a smaller profile with the next set. Live and learn I guess. The front need to come down some more but I need adjustable end links so if anyone could point me in the right direction that'll be great. The coilovers are rev9.

Sweet
Looks good. I really like the roof contrast. I’m still saving a bit of dough so I can do everything at once. I’ve got the black SR. I’m not blacking it out but I’m darkening the chrome trim and adding some tint to the windows. I’m hoping to be able to darken the emblems/badges too but we will see. I think this is all I will do, I’d like a little more growl from the engine but I haven’t heard anything I like so may just leave it be.

You should touch up your wheels with some high grossly paint. It will look a lot cleaner. I done it to mine when I accidentally curb rash. Love the exterior design but the nose is so big hard to see when parking. Look up Youtube on how to.

Painting calipers
did you paint the calipers yourself and if so where they difficult to remove? Same with the brake pads....was it difficult and is that something that requires bleeding the brake lines after? I would think not but wanted to ask. Thanks in advance. Your ride looks sweet!

Hey! Thank you!
The power of YouTube was my muse in this process, haha. Basically, I picked out parts of each video that suited my goals. I included a list of videos below; they all have really good points. I don't know if I would do it again but having someone there to help is recommended.
I actually did it without bleeding the brake lines, the only difficulty here is that it required a lot of masking of the area and car. I covered the entire car with plastic and doubled up in the wheel well, covering all the parts, rubber gaskets, and equipment in the area. The car was up on stands for the entire weekend while the paint was drying. I painted the calipers with the old brake pads in there and painted the new brake pads separately before installing them. Try to give everything time to cure and use gloves.
Honestly, the scariest part was lifting the car onto 4 stands. I wish I documented more on how I did this but I did (with the parking brake as tight as possible) lifted the front first, placed stands, then lifted the back. If you lift corner at a time to paint each the painting process will take 4x as long. The last video is a basic video that helped a little.
