First Maxima 2016 SL

Hey guys new to the site and to the Maxima. Definitely want to do some mods. Ordered OP7 6000k HIDs for headlights and some Yellow fog lights. I want to do some bigger Rims but these look good on the black Maxima.

Looks awesome with those upgraded wheels and spoiler. Congrats! Did you have the dealer do the tints?

Thanks!! Yeah the dealer I went to tinted all of their cars. Saved me the trip of having to go get it myself!

How is the range/distance on the HID's compared to the halogens?

They are definitely brighter as far as distance it's better but not by much. Or it could be that I'm just used to the HIDs now. But I have read some people adjusting them differently. Definitely worth the upgrade

They look great! How did the install go? Did you remove the wheels? Plug n Play?

Thanks! Install wasn't bad. No I didn't remove the wheels I just turned them inward on which ever side I was working on and accessed the lights through the wheel well cover. These have a ballast that you have to find a place to mount. There is a thread on here that someone had pictures to where they mounted it and that's where I mounted mine I'll have to try and see if I can find it.

Awesome! I think I'm going to order the 5000k version, less blue, more white.

Thank you sir! Anyone have thoughts on 35w vs. 55w? I'm trying to decide between these two sets:
