Hey guys, just picked up 2010 sv and I am looking to convert to HID's. Obviously looking for high and low beams. Let me know where to get them, thanks.

I do not recommend HID high beams.

 

I did these in the fogs and low beam, don't do the high beams in my opinion. I did 6000K

That looks really nice brichi. I was going to go with the 8K. But the 6K looks bright enough. Why is it not a good idea to do the High beam HID'S?

 

just pointless really, u really never use them and some HIDs take a few seconds to warm up to full brightness so if you were to just flip them on to alert an oncoming driver, they may not have any brightness on a quick 2-3 pulls of the high beam trigger

 

Good point. Would you recommend getting the HID kit or just replacing the D2S bulbs to 6K?

 

that I'm not sure of, I know mine was the Halogen bulbs stock so i used the entire kit to cover to 6K
