Will these work in the fogs and if so would 4 of these and HIDS be way to much light?

 

These claim to be replicate the arc beam of hids and also happens so that means the beam pattern should be good in our projectors

 

I was thinking of putting these in the fog lights. I already ordered hids for the headlights. I just don't want 4 of these in the fogs and a set of hids to turn night into day and blind everyone and their brother lol

 

These are way overkill for fog lights. I have the opt 7 and they're bright enough. Each set cost 37 I believe

 

That's what I was thinking. I'm just hesitate on getting any of the bulbs off eBay/Amazon with all the moisture problems everyone is having.

 

These are the older style ones that are on close out I was thinking about getting as well but still not sure if these would be overkill as well.

 

You want H16 bulbs as that is the appropriate wattage for the circuit. Anything more will be unnecessar. Think of streaming a movie online with a very fast computer but having only dial up internet. Not exactly the perfect analogy but you get it.

No some people on here has gotten the opt7 h16 bulbs and its very bright and much less expensive

 

By chance do you have a link to the OPT7's that you have or know the model? I installed the JDMAstars and had condensation in the drivers side. Had the housing replaced under warranty. Kept the bulbs separated by side installed and noticed that one of the bulbs from that side didn't seem to fit properly in the base (wiggled) and the other ones connection bracket was full of water and rusting, so I am a little reluctant to reinstall thinking the bulb is shot from the factory and that was the issue.

My fog lamps have condensation on one side. The one side, I was able to bend the tabs so it will be a little more snug.

Thanks for the link. Did you order the H11? I don't see H16 listed. Did the condensation clear up after you bent the tabs?
