20 inch wheels - suggestions for tire size
So, I'll list the wheel details below and I'd appreciate some help on tire size. I want to go 255/35/20, but I don't want to worry about rubbing or clearance issues.
Niche M150 Verona 20x9 5x114.3 +35mm
These are going on a 2016 Maxima Platinum in Pearl White. The car has both the interior and exterior lighting packages and I absolutely love it.
I have been a die hard VW GTi fan, but my 2015 GTi was full bolt on's plus a Stage 2 tune with a 6 speed manual. Not fun in traffic, but it was trapping the 1/4 mile at almost 115mph on the stock turbo.
The Maxima is plenty quick for me and the V6 sounds way better than the 4 cylinder GTI, even though I was running a catless downpipe.
My only modification on the Maxima is going to be the wheels/tires and a tune if one exists?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Dave

I believe 255/35R20 would be too wide and cause rubbing issues. I have 245/34R20 and Eibach lowering springs. Very very slight rubbing on extreme turns and when one wheel is raised up higher than the other (slanted).

Thanks, I'm going to play it safe and go with 245's then.
