I recently purchased a 2016 Maxima Platinum. I have washed it a couple of times and have noticed that water seems to bead up and roll off of all of the windows. I have not seen that with my other cars. Is there something they applied at the factory and will this continue? It certainly makes it much easier to keep them clean.


Also, has anyone noticed any slightly distorted views when looking out of the extreme edge of the windshield? For instance, when driving and looking out of the far right portion of the windshield things seem to appear slightly wavy.

 

Please use the search function. You'll find that your windshield question has been addressed several times. The short answer is yes.

 

I just did a search, couldn't find other threads you're referring too. I washed the '16 yesterday for the first time, it didn't really bead up that much on any of the glass.

 

I see mine around the corners, could be some weird slight curves.
Cannot really explain using sciencey stuff...
