Hi, new to the forum. My mom is due to pick up a beautiful dark grey-blue '17 SR with the Camel leather and alcantara interior later this week. She's never owned a car with alcantara inserts before and no light interiors at all. I'm concerned about how the light interior will stand against day to day use and long distanced driving. Are there any recommended ways of cleaning it and keeping it up?

I and getting the same interior which was hard to find.

I do not want cleaner... I want to protect the interior by just spraying it when I get the car.... sooo...


I am going to buy some protection products at checmicalguys.com. Think it is 19.95 for the fiber seal/waterproofing chemical for alcantera... and then there is a leather protectant product for about the same price. Just need to spray them once a year, and they are both uv protectants as well..... so everything should protected from water and spills etc. You can speak to the chemical guys for answers if you wish. I have not bought from them before, but their products do not have the harsh toxic fumes that waterproofing sprays did in the past.
