Are Platinum headlights led/hid?

I was trying to install HID's for headlights but it seems I can't even reach the low beam bulbs. I'm assuming they are HID's but they don't seem like it bc they come on instantly. I couldn't figure out how to remover the cover. Has anyone tried?

I did go through driver side wheel. Is it worth switching to HID? I feel like they would be brighter.

HID's are definitely brighter but I wouldn't change out oem LEDs for an aftermarket HID kit imo.

Has anyone done a retrofit and installed a projector into the high beam location yet? I am completely against a pnp kit because I'm not dealing with light scatter. Figured a projector with an led bulb would be nice to place in the high beams. Truly sucks we can't replace the factory led. The led is replaceable but man what a pain. And yes, that is our factory led light
