Front of car

I really like the 2017 Maxima and am considering replacing my Accord.

I do not like the front clip.

Has anyone removed the chrome looking piece on the grill or painted it? Any issues?

I agree with you 100%

I just got my new grill out of paint, deleted the entire Nissan emblem and replaced it with similar plastic mesh. I'm installing it this weekend and will create a thread for the build.

Great.

What did you do about the thin chrome surround trim piece on the sides and bottom?

I painted mine before I had my clear bra put on.
