Headlight Housing Removal

I searched and couldn't seem to find a tutorial or instructions on how to remove the headlights. May need to replace the one on the passenger side. I removed two bolts on top but it does not come out yet.

Thanks in advance for any guidance on this!

Regards,
Lou

You have to remove the front bumper to, it has bolts on the bottom the holds the lights. If you just trying to replace the bulbs you don't have to remove the lights .

Thanks so much! I thought that was the case. A truck backed into the light and scratched it. I'm going to replace the whole light.

Are there any quick instructions on how to remove the bumper? I'm sure I'll figure it out, but sometimes it goes easier if there are specific instructions to follow

Thanks again,
Lou

Front bumper removal is pretty simple. there are two 10mm bolts in the corners where the bumper meets the front quarterpanel. you will need to pull the wheel well back to get in there. after that just remove the pushpins on the top engine cover and the 10mm screws from underneath. the bumper just pulls off then.

here is a site with the service manuals for our car: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Maxima/2...2016%20Maxima/

the one you want is: http://www.nicoclub.com/service-manu...6%20Maxima/EXT page 16.

I posted this in my retrofit thread, but thought it would be useful here as well, as it applies to the original question here. Hope you find it useful....
