FOB going thru 3 volt every 24 hours

One of the 2 FOBs is draining a new Duracell or Panasonic 3 volt battery every 24 hours, maybe 36.

Anyone have similar experience. 2016 Max is about 1.5 years old.

Sounds like a button is stuck and it is continuously sending a request for an action. Do the locks act funny at all?

No, everything is normal. Install battery and first day is perfect. Next day DEAD; no proximity or button action.

Going in tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. Will report back with results.

It's very uncommon, but Dealer said failure is not unknown. Hence they didn't give me any BS over replacement. Very satisfied with Nissan warranty action.

Clearly not the same problem, but I remember having occasional difficulty getting responses to my FOB around five years ago with my 7th gen. After thinking I might be having battery trouble, I twice replaced the battery in my FOB with no improvement. Fortunately, my dealer has a tech who has proved many times over the last twenty years to be an electrical problem solver of considerable ability. He tracked the problem to an intermittent failure of one of the three hidden antennas in the car, replaced that antenna (at no charge, even though my warranty had expired; he said that problem should never have occurred, no matter the time or mileage), and I never had the problem again.
