Has anyone had any luck finding performance parts for the 8th gen? Looking into the possibility of a turbo or supercharger but am hitting a brick wall.

 

No!!! turbo, supercharge or tune so far for the 8 gen maxima

 

I have a call in with a few local places (upstate NY) trying to find something. May just end up having to have it customized but would prefer to have a kit and just do it myself. Maybe I'll get lucky and bring it somewhere and have them build a kit for me with a nice little discount in return for some promotion for other Maxima's. Wishful thinking though.....I can't imagine that people aren't going to attempt a turbocharged/supercharged engine with these

 

The biggest issue on this gen maxima is there is no tune for it and you going to need that to gain max hp.

 

Doesn't bully dog have a tuner out for the max?

 

No one has a turbo kit or supercharger kit because of the CVT transmission. You can thank Nissan for killing the performance aftermarket on the Maxima. Ever since 2002, big aftermarket performance companies have abandoned support for the Maxima.

And since you have a CVT transmission, you'd be crazy to try and add FI.

 

What about the bully dog tuner? Does anyone have it?

 

Bully dog not yet, and the cvt on this max is not that great on the other hand the cvt on the juke is much stronger i was pushing 355 pounds of torque and 375 hp all at the wheels with out cvt issues or at list for the year i own the car lol
