I have no ideas why you are having problems. I have no trouble washing mine with soap and and water.

Perhaps a mild polishing would help??

I usually use a mild wheel cleaner such as Chemical Guys DIablo wheel gel with my Wheel Woolies to clean them really good and then hose off and blow dry with a blower to keep water spots off. I have the 19" black wheels.

After I have washed the wheels with mild McGuires car washing liquid with a mitt, I hose them down with a very brisk spray of water, which seems to remove all soap and any hints of dirt that may have been left behind.

If I was preparing the car for showing, I might take more effort, but my car is simply for clean transportation.
