Sorry, this is my second post in as many days. I was curious whether anyone believes the direct injection V6 from the Pathfinder would ever make it into the Maxima.

Or whether there will be any future mechanical updates to the Maxima in its product cycle.

Any ideas on what they could be?

 

I highly suspect you will see the arrival of the DI V6 in the next 2 years. I see no reason Nissan would want their flagship sedan to NOT have the DI motor.
That said, sedan sales are poor, and will continue to be that way, but if they have already tooled for the DI on the Pathfinder, I see no reason they wouldnt migrate the Max over as well.
Then again, according to my wife, I am wrong 86.9% of the time.
