MPG Computer & Clock

Hello all,
Newcomer here...I just recently purchased a new 2017 Nissan Maxima, Platinum trim level. I have two questions regarding the MPG computer and the clock.

(1) Is there a way to change a setting to stop the MPG from resetting every time I turn the car off? I would like to see my overall average MPG from the last time I reset it (usually at the pump).

(2) Every time I get in the car to start it up, I noticed that the clock on the screen in the gauge cluster is resetting to 1:00 AM. It later updates after I start the car but I just thought I would ask.

The MPG does not reset when you turn off the car. You have to manually reset it. Your two questions make me think something is wrong with your car.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to check and see if there are any loose fuses and/or loose battery connections. I might also try performing a factory reset on the drive computer.

If there is still no luck, I'll have to take it in to the dealer.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or something similar to it?

Same here. Dealer installed SD card and all problems went away.

Interesting, I have the SD card installed in the slot next to the disc loader. I noticed that when I left work today, I didn't have a problem...the time didn't reset to 1:00 AM and I still had my average MPG from when I drove this morning. But later when I went back out after getting home, it did it again. I guess I will not know for sure until the dealer takes a look at it and I have time later in the week to do so.
