Was thinking about getting an exhaust and really like the sound of this one below. Anyone have any experience with the Motordyne exhaust? I just dont want the typical Maxima rasp like I found with my 2000 max.

 

Sounds good. Nothing wrong with the stock exhaust imo. One of the best sounding out there. I love it. Nissan done really good on the sound!

 

Well the thing is its super quiet right. But I want a bit more HP and the Y pipe typically delivers it but I wonder how it sounds with just the y-pipe.

 

The motordyne exhaust for the our maxima is really amazing no rasp. It doesn't drone on the highway. It's pretty quiet /tamed in normal driving. You will hear it in full throttle and around normal acceleration.

Definitely worth every penny.
