I found this air intake that I believe may be 1 of the only CARB approved for use in california. I found it at CarID, and if you phone them by phone they will discount it to around $260 w shipping. from $270 not incl shipping.

At a 6 hp increase,7lbs x ft. tq, and 33 percent flow increase.... is it noticeable at all when installed??? does it change the tone of the exhaust??

you probably wont gain any real significant performance without a tune. Although you will hear the intake suck air louder.
