Dents/Damage

Hello,

I just recently got my 2016 maxima and got into a bit of a accident today with minor damage. I was wondering if you guys could give me an estimate on how much it would cost to fix the damage from the picture. Its by the rear door on the left side of the car. It doesn't look too bad does it? I just hope it doesn't cost too much.

Thanks!

Debating on whether or not to use your deductible? Just go and get a couple of estimates then decide. My guess $1500, I'm probably low. If that wheel got hit it will have to be replaced.

Not using the deductible, there is no wheel damage. It's just that dent. it doesn't even look that bad does it? i thought it would be around 200-300...i really hope its around that.

Unless you want sloppy work. That is easily a $800-$1,200 dollar job at a quality body shop.

I'm no expert but I would agree with 800-1200. Mine was damaged on both doors, one rim, rear and front side panels (basically all down one side) and that was CAN$7500.

Damn guys that so much money :'( I could've used that money to get front and rear diffusers and had them installed. But I guess theres nothing to be done about it now. Any other info you guys have will be greatly appreciated. How long do you guys expect the work to take?

Definitely gonna cost you at least 1000 for some quality paint work. Your car is white and if u get a bad paint job it’s gonna stand out like a sore thumb. Body Work isn’t cheap. Most quality shops charge 500 per panel they have to paint

Can't tell by the picture, but if you need a new door, that's going to jack you up. One side, figure paint passenger door, blend (color match) the drivers door then blend up the dogleg of the quarter. With basic bondo work and paint yeah, $1200-$1500 isn't far off. Here's the thing, you have the pearl white, it's a funky clear coat...they may want to paint your whole side, both doors, fender and quarter just to get this matched out...Hell maybe even the bumper covers. So if this is on your dime, you're going to keep it simple, if it's someone else's fault, go the full side.

Mine took a month because they had to replace both doors, which were on back order. Hopefully you will be luckier than I was!

Here's a more zoomed out picture. I'm not sure if there's any real door damage. It looks like it's just fendor work. I could be wrong. Really appreciate the inputs guys.

your not mentioning the quarter panel with damage,my estimate is 1800,ive done body work for 40 years, hire a pro as this pearl white is a 3 stage color,a tad harder to match a blend.

This thread is almost 4 years old. The car could be already repaired, but who knows.
