Rear Panoramic Seal

I just purchased a 2016 SL a few months ago. I have the Panoramic sunroof which I am not new o had one on my 2010 model. Has anyone had issues with the rear panoramic seal? On my drivers side the corner portion of my seal sticks up noticeably and I believe that is where I am hearing that extra air noise while driving.
Any experience with this and advice will be greatly appreciated.

I have had the panoramic roof on my 2009 and my 2016, and the roof on my 2016 malfunctioned, breaking several parts, and had to be completely replaced. I have not noticed much noise with either roof, but since the roof on my 2016 was replaced carefully by hand by good technicians at my favorite dealer, they may have sealed the roof more carefully than the Smyrna assembly line. I was T-boned on the Atlanta down connector (I-85) the morning of October 7th, and repair work on my Maxima was just begun today. It will probably be Thanksgiving before I see my car again, but when I have it back, I will pay close attention to the rear seal on the panoramic roof.

You should get the seal replaced and have the dealer check the height setting on the sliding part of the roof. Sounds like it was set too low and rubbing the seal when opening.

I was at the dealer where I have my car serviced and I was told it is under warranty so I am going to have it replaced while I am traveling during Thanksgiving.

Update dropped my vehicle off two weeks ago and dealer finally found someone to tackle the job. I am somewhat disappointed they did not already have a vendor on hand to fix this. I am somewhat concerned about the quality of work they will do today. I get my car back Wednesday afternoon....stay tuned.
