Windshield Fluid Washer Spray doesnt work

Hey there everyone...
In NY it has been freezing cold of 15 degrees for like a week now. But I have one problem. My windshield fluid washer spray doesnt work because I currently have the bug prevention washer fluid for the summer time so it got frozen, I believe. Does anyone know any way to unfreeze or defrost the windshied fluid in order for me to put a new winter washer fluid?

Find some place that is above freezing and park it for a few hours or just let it be until the weather warms up to above freezing. You could also do it the hard way, remove the washer fluid bottle, bring it indoors to thaw then go after all the washer fluid lines with a couple of hair dryers to thaw the lines.

Richard66's idea is a good one. Here is another: A good hair dryer directed on the reservoir if it is frozen or maybe just the lines running to the wipers. Should find a place out of the weather to do this. May take a while. Much hot water over the reservoir and lines too (out of the cold too if you can). If the reservoir is not frozen solid and I were desperate I would run it through a good hot car wash. That should thaw things a bit.

If there is room in the reservoir just add the proper winter compound and the reservoir should thaw in a few hours.

I was thinking about putting the winter fluid into the reservoir to thaw the one in there too. I hope it will work!
