Who needs washer fluid anyway?...
Who needs washer fluid anyway?...
Drove all the way to work (30mi). I said-"Gonna snow tomorrow, I'll top off the ol' washer fluid". So I kept filling and filling...where is it all going?!?...oh, on my shoes.
Guess what? I went over a dip in the road yesterday (the kind where your bumper touches down and gives that slight, dreaded scrape).
Who knew the washer reservoir was 2 separate pieces-the tank and the filler neck. Well, apparently, that was enough to dislodge the press-fit (and collar) between the 2 pieces.
But I didn't know that (esp. since the filler neck is attached to the fender with a plastic retaining snap). So I drove back 30mi to the dealer who was kind enough to show this to me.
Moral of the story-don't go over any bumps if you expect to use your washer fluid.
